Frequently Asked Questions
When will the Davis County Homeownership program reopen?
The program is expected to reopen in July 2026 when new funding is allocated. We monitor this closely and will notify our pre-approved clients as soon as funds become available. In the meantime, the FHLB HELP and UHC programs provide over $35,000 in assistance.
Which Davis County cities have their own DPA programs?
Layton ($10,000 forgivable grant — currently open) and Clearfield ($7,500 matching grant — currently closed) have city-specific programs. All other Davis County cities can access the county program, FHLB HELP, and UHC programs.
Can I combine city and county programs?
Yes. Davis County programs are designed to stack. A Layton buyer, for example, can combine At Home in Layton ($10K) + FHLB HELP ($20K) + UHC ($15K+) + Davis County ($50K when open) for maximum assistance.
What does "deferred loan" mean?
A deferred loan means you make no monthly payments on the assistance amount. You repay the balance only when you sell, refinance, or pay off your primary mortgage. The Davis County program charges just 1% interest on the deferred balance.
We Handle Everything
The documentation for DPA programs overlaps heavily with your mortgage application. We prepare and submit all applications on your behalf — at no extra cost.
